Terms & Conditions
By placing an order with Tara's Sweet Affair, LLC, online, by phone, or by email you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. General

All products are made in a kitchen that handles wheat, dairy, nuts, soy, and other allergens.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

Due to ongoing supply chain constraints and fluctuating ingredient costs, prices are subject to change without notice. We make every effort to maintain stable pricing but reserve the right to adjust prices to reflect current market conditions. Pricing on confirmed orders will be honored; however, future orders may be subject to updated rates.
2. Orders

Weddings and events serving more than 20 guests must be booked at least 30 days in advance to ensure availability and preparation time.

Personal custom orders (e.g., cakes, cupcakes, or specialty items not for large events) must be placed a minimum of 7 days in advance.

A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required for all orders over $500 at the time of booking.

Orders under $500 must be paid in full at the time of ordering.

Orders are not confirmed until the applicable payment or deposit has been received.
3. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations must be made at least [72 hours] prior to pickup/delivery for a full refund.

No refunds will be issued for cancellations made after the cutoff time.

In the case of events, a non-refundable deposit of [X]% is required at booking.
4. Event Catering

Final guest count must be confirmed no later than [7] days before the event.

We are not responsible for delays or damages due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to weather, venue access, or acts of God.

Setup and delivery fees may apply and will be quoted prior to the event.
5. Shipping and Delivery

We are not responsible for damage that occurs during shipping once the product leaves our premises.

We use reputable carriers, but cannot guarantee shipping times due to third-party delays.

Customers are responsible for ensuring accurate shipping addresses. Re-delivery due to incorrect addresses may incur additional charges.
6. Product Guarantee and Liability

We take great pride in our products. If you are dissatisfied for any reason, please contact us within 24 hours of receipt.

We are not liable for allergic reactions. Ingredients are listed on our website or available by request.

Any product complaint must be accompanied by photographic evidence and returned product (if requested).
7. Force Majeure
We are not liable for failure to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, government actions, or supplier failure.
8. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of our services implies acceptance of the revised terms.
